Designing, Implementing, and Evaluating Humanitarian Projects:  School for NGO staff.

The School was a NGO-capacity building project co-organized by the Department of Political Science and International Relations and the Department of Economics of the University of Peloponnese with the generous support of Stavros Niarchos Foundation. It took place in Athens (twice) Thessaloniki (twice), Heraklion, Ioannina, Komotini, Larissa, Patras and Tripolis in 2012-5 (about 400 teaching hours in total). Participants included experienced volunteers from two hundred (200) Greek NGOs and Civil Society Organizations. The Co-Directors of the School were Professors Asteris Huliaras and Panagiotis Liargovas. The Project Manager was Dr Sotiris Petropoulos. Lecturers included university professors and experts from international organizations, consultancies and the civil society sector.
